The long beaches of fine golden sand run along the entire adriatic coast from Gabicce Mare, passing through Pesaro, Senigallia, Ancona, Porto Recanati, Civitanova Marche, Porto Sant'Elpidio, Porto San Giorgio, Grottammare until you reach the border with Abruzzo  San Benedetto del Tronto. This long, almost straight and uniform coastline is interrupted abruptly by wilder and more evocative scenery on the Riviera del Conero, near Sirolo and Numana, where the small massif of Monte Conero makes the coast high and rocky, with stretches of coastline that can only be reached by sea or between paths cut out of the greenery.

The territory of the Marche, in the hinterland, is hilly at times, where you can see large expanses of olive trees, vineyards, sunflowers and lavender, a stone's throw from ancient villages that excel from hill to hill outlining the territory, for the rest, mountainous. The Marches embrace the Adriatic side of the Umbro-Marche Apennines.
These areas are rich in national parks such as: the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains, the Regional Park of Conero, the Regional Park of Monte San Bartolo, ideal for trekking enthusiasts, not to be missed are the beautiful Caves of Frasassi, part of the Regional Park Gola della Rossa and Frasassi in the province of Ancona, of great speleological interest and destination for visitors from all over Europe.
